Toyota motors while keeping in mind the crises of natural resources has introduced a hybrid synergy concept car. Toyota introduced its first hybrid based technology car named "Toyota Prius".
Toyota Prius sets the standard for environmentally friendly Hybrid transportation. Toyota Prius is a gas-electric drive-train and the company calls that a hybrid synergy drive. Toyota Prius runs on an electric motor connected to a battery for a max speed limit of 32 mph an afterwards it automatically shifts to petrol. The engine consists of 1497cc 1.5-liter four-cylinder double overhead cam (DOHC) gasoline engine paired with an electric-drive motor that draws power from hybrid battery and together they make 110 hp. it is a front wheel drive car type with a rpm of 5000, 5 door car that comes with a 16 inch alloy rims. Toyota prius is a fully automatic car with many features.The overall fuel consumption of toyota Prius is just outstanding as it gives min 35-40 km/l. Regarding interior and room size of the car the interior of the car is also gud while the car is very spacious and in short i can say that its a complete luxury car with almost all the function with efficient fuel consumption. so, the overall car is very good and in relation to other hybrid cars like honda civic hybrid, toyota Prius is much more better than civic hybrid in all means e.g interior, exterior, performance and luxury as well.
Owning and driving a hybrid car is not only smart, it’s financially wise. The average amount of money saved when switching to a hybrid is nearly $500 annually on gas!! hybrid
